One big thing in the news lately is Wesley Snipes going to jail for not filing his income tax returns. Unlike other celebrities who get off easily with a short stint in prison or a little slap on the wrist, Snipes was given the maximum time for his crime. Mind you he did get off, by not serving longer when the judge brought the sentence down. Thank goodness someone finally is showing that just because you have celebrity standing and have had celebrity friends write letters on your behalf does NOT allow you to be above the law.
Hopefully this trend of just punishment for a crime commited continues.
