American Ingenuity and the Fuel Crisis

Winning our freedom in the American Revolution, the Louis and Clarke Expedition, landing on the Moon, what do all of these have in common? They were all the result of the American spirit and American ingenuity. In "American Ingenuity Will Get Us Past the Fuel Crisis," Phil Brennan describes how through the 230 year existence of our nation, we've been able to overcome every obstacle in our path, even if we face seemingly impossible odds. The current fuel crisis is no different. Right now there are Americans toiling away both in small workshops and large corporate owned labs, trying to find a way to escape rising fuel prices and to make America energy independent. You can read all about it in Phil Brennan's article. As Mr. Brennan said, Carpe Diem -- seizing the day -- that's what American's do.
